Export

Download your restaurant data as Excel files for bookkeeping, analysis, or to move data into another system.

What You Can Export

  • Sales — all POS transactions with item breakdown, discounts, taxes, and payment methods
  • Contacts — full contact list (customers and suppliers)
  • Menu Items — your complete menu with prices and categories
  • Expenses — recorded expenses with dates, amounts, and categories
  • Invoices — open and closed invoices with contact and payment status

Running an Export

  1. Go to Export in the sidebar.
  2. Select the data type you want to export.
  3. For time-based data (Sales, Expenses, Invoices), set the date range — from date and to date.
  4. Click Export to Excel. The file downloads immediately in XLSX format.
Tip: For monthly bookkeeping, run a Sales export at the end of each month (first to last day of the month) and share the file with your accountant.

Sending to Google Drive

If you've connected your Google account (see Google Drive Backup), each export page shows a Send to Drive button alongside the download button. Clicking it generates the file and uploads it directly to your configured Google Drive folder.

This is useful for creating a regular backup without manually downloading and re-uploading files.

Excel Format

All exports are formatted as properly structured Excel files (XLSX). Column headers are on row 1. Date columns are formatted as dates (not text strings) so they sort and filter correctly in Excel and Google Sheets.
